Bio
Damien's music is about life—what it means to him and what it means to other people: pain and suffering, joy and sorrow, things everyone goes through, and things he observes. He tries to express the good in life without being sappy and the bad without being gloomy.
Damien is interested in pushing the envelope musically. That's why he uses synthesizers - to create sounds no one has ever heard before. For him, composing is not just about melody, but also about soundscape.
Damien was born and raised in Massachusetts. He currently lives in the Washington, DC area with his girlfriend.
He graduated from American University with a bachelor of science in Audio Technology in 1999. The degree program covered acoustics, digital audio engineering, video engineering, electronic music, and studio engineering. He supplemented his studies with computer programming and physics. He currently works full time on music and is looking for a label to work with.
